Dr. Dalstrom specializes in fracture care, post traumatic reconstruction and foot and ankle surgery. He treats complex problems related to nerves, muscles and biomechanics, as well as common ailments such as flat foot and fractures.

As the only orthopedic doctor in San Diego with specialty training from both a Foot and Ankle and a Trauma fellowship, Dr. Dalstrom is an important member of Torrey Pines Orthopedic Medical Group and the San Diego medical community.
In addition to his position as Torrey Pines Orthopedic Medical Group resident foot and ankle expert, he serves as the Chief of Orthopedics at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, the hospital’s orthopedic representative for the committee on trauma. As a member of Mammoth Hospital’s medical staff, Dr. Dalstrom travels to Mammoth regularly to perform foot and ankle surgeries.
When he isn’t on the job, Dr. Dalstrom enjoys spending time with his wife, a vascular surgeon on active duty for the U.S. navy, and his dog, Sydney. An Ironman triathlete, Dr. Dalstrom runs, bikes, hikes, snowboards, and does mixed martial arts. His favorite hobby is marksmanship, but cooking on his grill is a close second.
