Mammoth Orthopedic Institute Research Foundation – MOIRF

Research Foundation

Mission Statement

The mission of the Mammoth Orthopedic Institute Research Foundation is to foster orthopedic education, innovation, and research in the Eastern Sierra, advancing musculoskeletal health and improving patient outcomes through collaboration and discovery.

Purpose

The Mammoth Orthopedic Institute Research Foundation is dedicated to training orthopedic sports medicine fellows to conduct impactful clinical research that advances healthcare and enhances the well-being of patients and athletes in the Eastern Sierra region. By equipping fellows with the knowledge and skills to contribute to evidence-based practice, we aim to drive innovations in orthopedic care and treatment.

Community outreach is a cornerstone of our purpose. We promote musculoskeletal health awareness and injury prevention through educational programs, public seminars, and partnerships with local organizations. By engaging with schools, athletic programs, and recreational groups, we strive to reduce preventable injuries and empower individuals with knowledge to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

Additionally, the Foundation supports and collaborates with local organizations that share our commitment to orthopedic education and injury prevention. By fostering these partnerships, we extend our impact beyond clinical settings, contributing to a healthier, more informed community.

Through our dedication to research, education, and community outreach, the Mammoth Orthopedic Institute Research Foundation remains committed to advancing orthopedic care and supporting the health and well-being of our region’s residents and visitors alike.
