Biography
Kat began her career practicing in the emergency departments of two rural Washington hospitals before joining a high-volume urgent care clinic in Portland. Her diverse clinical experience allows her to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care and makes her a valued member of our orthopedic team.
Originally from rural Maryland, Kat’s professional journey has been shaped by both her passion for medicine and her love of the outdoors. After college, she moved to Colorado, where she worked as an instructor for the Colorado Outward Bound School and served as an EMT in mountain communities.
Kat is thrilled to call the Eastern Sierra and Mammoth home-an area she has cherished for many years. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing, skiing, trail running, fly fishing, and sewing her own clothing. She loves exploring the mountains with her partner, Maarten, and spending time at home with their three cats.
